THE JOURNAL

Strength for your life,
beyond the gym.

Training can have an everyday purpose: continuing to do the things that matter to you.

Start with what you want to enjoy

Carrying bags, climbing stairs, playing with family or exploring a city on foot. Thinking about these activities gives training a personal meaning. Your goal can be to move more confidently through your own life.

Strength and movement complement each other

The CDC explains that muscle-strengthening activities can help maintain or increase muscle mass and strength. Flexibility can improve joint range of motion. These are different capacities that can support everyday activities.

Make room for consistency

A realistic starting point respects your experience, availability and needs. Choose a possible time to move and reflect on what makes it easier to follow through. A qualified professional can help adapt exercise to your situation.
